It occurs to me that, so far as I am aware, (a) I have yet to read a book written by a Gen Z author and (b) I have yet to find a Gen Z author whose essays or reviews I regularly want to read (i.e., whose byline I seek out, whose RSS feed I have saved, etc.).
On second thought, earlier this month I read August Lamm’s You Don’t Need a Smartphone, and at thirty-one years old she is right on the edge: either a baby Millennial or an elder Zoomer. So perhaps she is my first Gen Z author. (And the book was good!)
