WSJ headline: “Netflix, America’s Dominant Streaming Service, Has Hit a Wall”
Subhead: “Company overhauling creative leadership as it struggles to get domestic audiences to watch more”
I have news for Netflix and all other streamers: There is no more “more” to chase. It’s all watching, all the time. Unless you want non-human bots to “watch” more hours and thus be “counted” for shareholders, we’ve reached the endgame, the ne plus ultra of streaming content. No more audiences, no more eyeballs, no more hours viewed. Finito.
