The blog lies fallow at the moment. Why? Because since Friday I have submitted five total essays to different publications, in addition to three other recent ones that are either in press or awaiting reply. The topics and word counts (in reverse order from today):

- Church - 2,300
- Autodidacts - 2,400
- Exegesis - 6,200
- Reading - 2,300
- Forgiveness - 4,400
- Fantasy - 2,700
- Borgmann - 3,400
All in all: more than 26,000 words. The first five in the list were written just in the last week. That’s a lot of words, y’all. Time to take a nap.
